Going up the river Marecchia and the homonymous valley, we will cycle along the quiet cycle path that from the heart of Rimini, along the river, reaches the Tuscan-Romagna Apennine ridges. Green hills and well-cultivated countryside alternate with the fortresses of the  Malatesta Lordship from which you can enjoy an extraordinary landscape, between the sea and the mountains. The nearest town to Rimini is Santarcangelo di Romagna, a town that has preserved a well-kept historic center, made up of ancient buildings, staircases, shops and an incredible network of underground tuffaceous caves. An easy and short route but rich in historical and cultural contents.
